Use Your Edge @ International Coaching Week 2025

As part of International Coaching Week 2025 between May 12th and May 18th, I will be offering a number of open sessions on a variety of different topics. You can read about the different webinars below and sign up directly to get the Zoom access that you’ll need to join.

Please visit this page again over the coming weeks as I’ll be adding extra sessions as we get closer to the date.

Integrating the Art of the Spanish Tortilla, NLP & the ICF Core Competencies

In this session, you will learn an NLP framework that will help you uncover and better understand the various elements of your clients’ world and how they interconnect.

This framework isn’t just a tool for grasping the essentials of client engagement across all coaching competencies; it’s your secret ingredient for mastering areas like Ethical Presence, Trust & Safety, Active Listening, and Facilitating Growth.

And to add a dash of fun, you’ll leave with a recipe for a Spanish Tortilla, which will bring the NLP framework and core competencies to life as they simmer and blend ‘flavourably’ together. All you’ll need to bring along is a bowl of curiosity, a generous dose of playfulness, a splash of creativity, and a sprinkle of humour!

I am offering this session twice during the week to facilitate different time zones. Use the links below to confirm your attendance.

Integrating a Compass Coaching Mindset

Integrating a Compass Coaching Mindset’ introduces coaches at all levels to a compelling set of perspectives, beliefs, or ways of thinking that can underpin what it means for your clients to be able to get the most out of a coaching process. Sharing these mindsets with them will also have a direct impact on how they understand the coaching process and give your clients the opportunity to show up to each particular coaching session in the most effective frame of mind. Furthermore, as a coach, these mindsets will also support you in setting a solid foundation for your coaching and enable you to do your best work.

This mini-course is spread over three 60 minute sessions.

  • Session 1 – Monday, May 12th ‘Designing the Route’ will look at the first four of the eight key mindsets.
  • Session 2 ‘Steadying the Ship’ – Wednesday, May 14th will look at the second four mindsets.
  • Session 3 ‘Sailing the Seas’ – Friday, May 16th focuses on practical implications.

How Your Words Work – Grammarously Glamourous Coaching in Action

Discover the power of language in action and it’s impact in coaching!

  • Did you know that the word glamour is said to come from the word grammar and the idea of magic in learning?
  • If you could sprinkle a little magic dust over the language you use with your clients, what might the impact be?

Join me for this innovative session and add an element of glamour to your coaching style.

We’ll be looking at how simple changes in grammar and tense direct our thought processes and how as a coach, you can use your words to have greatest impact with your questions and responses.

You’ll learn to intentionally use your language to empower your clients to stop limiting themselves, start connect to their strengths and look back from a place of having already made the changes that they want to make.

We’ll also look at three questions that coaches typically ask in a coaching session and discuss a variety of empowering alternative options.

If you are a lifelong learner, keen to increase your skills in Creating Effective Coaching Agreements, Evoking Awareness and Facilitating Client Growth and curious about the ‘L‘ in Neuro Linguistic Programming, ‘How Your Words Work –  Grammarously Glamorous Coaching in Action‘ on Tuesday, May 13th, is the session for you.

It’s About Time Coaching the Best of Times!

During this session, we will be exploring, from an NLP Coaching perspective, three different structures of time and the impact that they have on how we organise the elements of our experience, interact with the world, and the results that we achieve.

We will explore how these structures can support us in enabling our clients to build stronger connections during, between, and over sessions. Moreover, we will learn how an understanding of these distinctions can help us co-create a much more effective coaching process for and with our clients fomenting longer-lasting transformational and generative change.
